Thank you for listening! Back in 2013, Moterrific was the only podcast from a female perspective. Since then, the podcast spectrum has expanded to include more motorcycle-oriented podcasts and more female involvement (Hurray!). We hope that you enjoy our archives. Below is a short bit about who we are (Joanne and Cristi), where that female perspective is coming from, and a collection of media (interviews and articles) to which we have contributed.

Cristi Farrell (the “tall” one)

I got my start in motorcycling by riding a 40,000+ kilometer hot lap around South America on a Honda 200XL with only the CHP Motorcycle Safety Foundation course under my belt. That epic adventure will eventually become a book some day, but until then I spin my wheels weekdays as a consulting geologist. On a rare occasion, I do freelance journalism and have been published in online and/or print media for the following publications: About Motorcycle, Motorcycle Rides & Culture (out of print), Revzilla's Common Tread Blog, AMA Magazine, Cafe Racer XXX, Motorcyclist Magazine, Cycle News, and Overland Magazine (UK).

You can find me at GearChic.com, dishing all the dirt I can about women's motorcycle gear. I've been riding since 2003 (starting on a scooter) and have moved my way through 5 motorcycles (currently a 2012 Triumph Street Triple R). I relocated to Philadelphia, PA in January 2014 so I could work at Revzilla.com, selling gear in the amazing gear boutique. I also love talking about motorcycles all day long!
